I love Eva Mendes, but a part of me kind of hates her for being with Ryan Gosling. Why can't we all get feminist boyfriends who break up fights, save women from being hit by cars and have amazing bodies? But it's not like men aren't thinking the same thing about how lucky he is to be with her.

She's channeling Sophia Loren's "femme fatale" style. I've only seen one Sophia Loren film, but I've seen a lot of photos of her and I think Eva really nailed it in this shoot. She has that special quality Sophia had, which allows her to be sexy dressed like this or in sweatpants at the grocery store.
